#113 Tara Nayak is a naturopathic physician with a special interest in treating women with hormonal imbalances, mood and digestive disorders. Using personalized assessments such as genome sequencing and microbiome testing she creates individualized plans incorporating botanical medicine, nutrients, homeopathics, and personalized therapeutic diets for each patient. 

Dr. Nayak graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine before going on to a residency at the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine. She has taught courses for Maryland University of Integrative Health and the University of Bridgeport including: Nutrigenomics and Epigenetics, Functional Nutritional Immunology, and Generative Medicine.

After going into private practice she joined up with Dr. Ginger Nash to co-found feminology: The Art and Science of Female Hormones, a venture to provide women with reliable, accessible naturopathic health resources while shedding light on how society and culture influence women's health.
